GENETICS

An individual’s genetics influences his facial symmetry. People with asymmetrical features may notice that other members of their family have similar characteristics.

AGING

While bones stop growing at puberty, cartilage does not. As a result, a person’s ears and nose will keep growing, leading to changes in the face. Soft tissues in the face will also begin to relax.

HOW PARMITA GOT RID OF FACIALA SYMMETRY WITH FACE YOGA

Long long time ago, when I was participating in the Miss India pageant; just like other contestants, I was told to undergo some procedures. But I chose to go with Face Yoga. My yoga teacher had taught me some good exercises, which saved the day! 

 

Cut to 7 years, I used to carry my younger son on my left hip. I noticed that gradually, it impacted my posture, physique and even my face. Due to altered posture, I started having back pain, my left breast became a lot flatter. It impacted my neck muscles on the left side, causing a cascading effect on my facial features. 

 

I observed the left part of my face was ageing faster. I had more forehead wrinkles, eyebrows were droopy, cheeks were sagging more.

 

This was the turning point for me, as I turned towards Face Yoga again.  Remarkably, after just two months of face yoga on one half of my face and neck showed tremendous improvement. This success prompted me to balance my facial symmetry and work on the right side of my face as well."
