A live masterclass with Parmita Katkar

Camera-Ready Jawline Masterclass

Your jawline, your posture and your body language work together. Learn all three to look the age you feel, and step into every holiday photo with confidence.

Live on Zoom · Friday, October 23 · 6 PM PT

The holidays are the most photographed weeks of the year, and you know the moment: someone says “let’s take a picture,” and you’re already searching for the angle that hides your chin. But the camera sees more than your face. It sees how you hold your neck, your shoulders and your hands. In ninety minutes, you’ll learn a face yoga routine for your jawline, the posture that reveals it, and the body language that makes you look confident in every frame.

Your jawline isn’t gone. Your posture Photo is hiding it.

Parmita with collapsed posture and curled-in shoulders

When women over 40 start disliking their photos, they blame their face. So they lift their chin, rest a hand under it, stand in the back row, or quietly step out of the frame.

But your jawline doesn’t work alone. When your shoulders round forward, your head drops forward too, your neck compresses and your jaw folds into it. When you feel unsure, your body shrinks: chin back, shoulders in, arms closed, smile tight. The camera picks up all of it. That’s why this class works on your face and your body together.

What You Will Learn

60 minutes + 30-minute Q&A

1

The Jawline Face Yoga Routine

A follow-along routine of face yoga exercises for your jaw, chin and neck. You’ll do every exercise with Parmita, live, and leave with a routine you can repeat at home.

2

Posture That Reveals Your Jawline

How to undo “tech neck,” open your shoulders and find the tongue and chin position that lengthens your neck, so your jawline shows the moment you stand or sit tall.

3

Body Language for the Camera

What your shoulders, hands and stance say before you speak. Why the proportion between your jawline and neck matters, and how an elongated neck makes your whole face look lifted. How to move naturally in videos and look relaxed and confident instead of stiff.

4

Your Camera-Ready Angles

Where to hold your chin, how to find your best side, where to place yourself in a group shot, and a quick jawline makeup touch so your face reads clearly on screen.

How the wrong angle swallows your jawline

This masterclass is for you if…

Even a small change in your jawline can change how you show up.

Why You Look Less Confident on Camera Than You Feel

The Tech-Neck Trap

Hours of looking down at phones and laptops round the shoulders and push the head forward. The jaw folds into the neck, and the face and neck start to look like one block. No serum can change how your head sits on your body.

The Shrinking Reflex

When we feel unsure in front of a camera, the body closes in: chin pulls back, shoulders curl, arms cross, smile tightens. It’s meant to protect us, but on camera it reads as discomfort, and it creates the double chin we were trying to hide.

The Chin-Up Myth

Lifting your chin for photos seems like the fix, but it stretches the neck wide and makes your expression look stern. It shows the camera tension, not confidence.

Look closely

What’s Hiding Your Jawline?

Most women lose their jawline for one of three reasons. Look at the photos below and notice which one looks most like you. Each one needs a different approach, and each one can change.

A client in profile before: softness under the chin and along the jaw
Before
The same client after: a defined line from ear to chin
After

Reason 1

Puffiness and a Double Chin

Softness gathers under the chin and along the jaw, so the line between your face and neck blurs. It’s often worse in the morning, after salty food, or when your tongue rests low and the muscles under your chin go slack.

You might notice: a fuller lower face in photos, and a double chin when you look down.

A client's neck before: visible cords and bands
Before
The same client's neck after: smoother, with the bands eased
After

Reason 2

A Short, Tight Neck Muscle

The platysma is the thin sheet of muscle that runs from your collarbone up to your jaw. When it becomes short and tight, it pulls your lower face down. There’s no contour between your cheeks and your neck, so nothing defines the jawline.

You might notice: visible cords or bands in your neck, and a mouth that turns down when you’re relaxed.

A client's lower face before: jowls collecting along the jaw
Before
The same client after: a firmer line along the jaw
After

Reason 3

Sagging Jowls

The fullness that used to sit high in your cheeks slides down and collects along the jaw. The clean line from ear to chin breaks into soft pockets on either side of your mouth.

You might notice: a heavier lower face, and a jawline that looks uneven or “square” in photos.

Whichever one you see in the mirror, it can change. In class, Parmita shows you the exercises and posture for each one, so you know exactly where to start.

Why face yoga

Why Face Yoga Works for Your Jawline When Nothing Else Did

Your jawline is held up by muscles. When they puff, shorten or slide, the jawline goes soft. No facial, radiofrequency session, Botox or filler can train those muscles for you. Face yoga can, and the change it brings goes far beyond the mirror.

What about…

What each one does, and why it can’t do this job.

Facials

Most facials are little more than glorified cleansers. Your skin feels squeaky clean for a day or two, and then you’re back to square one. They work only on the outer layer of your skin, so they can’t strengthen a muscle or change how your neck holds your jaw.

Radiofrequency & microneedling

They use heat or tiny injuries to tighten skin. Some women see a lift at first, then find that repeated treatments leave the face looking thinner and hollower, without building any muscle underneath.

Botox

Botox works by stopping muscles from moving. Your jawline needs muscles that are strong and active, not frozen, and over time a still face can make you look less like yourself.

Fillers

Fillers add volume to imitate a contour. They don’t fix what caused the jawline to soften, they need topping up, and too much can weigh the face down and change your features.

In their words

What My Clients Have Said

DianeDiane

After radiofrequency & microneedling

“I went for radiofrequency and microneedling. The first couple of sessions were good, but after that, the heat took away the facial fat that gave my face its volume, and my jawline looked like a deflated balloon. Parmita’s customized routine has every workout modified for me, and it’s working really well. I’m two months in and I’m already seeing firmness in my jawline and neck.”
CarolCarol

Sagging jowls

“My face was descending, and it looked like a bag hanging by my jawline. I’d watched it happen over 15 or 20 years, but in four months with Parmita it has started to tone up, and my whole face looks more balanced. I compared my pictures to ones from 2016, and I look better now. On Mother’s Day, my daughter loved it so much that she started face yoga in her 20s, because preserving is easier than reversing. Going to church used to be dreadful, because people asked if I was sick or if everything was OK. Now they ask for my secret, and I’m happy to tell them it’s all natural and I still look like myself.”
NicoleNicole

After years of Botox & fillers

“After so much Botox and filler, my face had stopped expressing. I couldn’t smile properly, my lower face felt completely restricted, and I felt claustrophobic in my own skin. It was affecting my business and my relationship. I stopped all injectables and had my fillers removed, which at first made my face look worse than it did three years ago. Three months into exercising my face, the changes are small, but my skin seems to be filling in. I know my muscles were damaged, so my journey will be longer than others’, but I’m excited because I’ve started to see change.”
